Summary: AwFit runs in local-only mode. We do not operate cloud accounts or store your data on our servers. All meals, workouts, hydration, and settings are stored only on your device (Core Data). When you use AI meal analysis or workout form analysis, photos or videos are sent to Google Gemini (or optionally OpenAI) for processing only; we do not store those images on any server. HealthKit data stays in Apple Health and is not sent to us. We do not sell your data, we do not track you across apps, and we do not send usage analytics or crash reports to external servers. AwFit collects and processes the following data only on your device unless you explicitly use features that send data to third-party AI services:

These providers process the image or video only to return analysis results. We do not store the images or videos on our servers. Processing is done over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
If you grant access, AwFit reads health data from Apple Health (HealthKit), such as steps, active energy, and heart rate. This data stays in Apple Health on your device. We do not upload HealthKit data to our servers or to third parties. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in iOS Settings.
If you subscribe to AwFit, payment and subscription management are handled by Apple (In-App Purchase). We do not store your payment details. Apple’s privacy policy and terms apply to those transactions.
Because your data is stored locally:
Data on your device is protected by iOS security (including device passcode/biometrics and encryption where applicable). When we send data to AI providers, we use HTTPS. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
AwFit is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@awfit.net, and we will take steps to delete such information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use of AwFit after changes means you accept the updated policy.
